Compare Frame Jig Bundles

Chop Source frame jig fixtures help you build or modify motorcycle, bicycle, and mini bike frames. Our fixtures and brackets bolt to steel tubing you supply to make a modular frame welding jig. Everything we sell is available individually, and we've bundled the fixtures most people use for each type of frame to make ordering easier and save you a little money. Many of our parts work with more than one type of frame jig, so a part that comes in one bundle can often be used for another frame type. Our customers are creative and have used our fixtures in ways we never imagined. Depending on your project, you may need to make some of your own fixtures to add to ours, and our Base Clamps and Clamp Bars make it simple to add uprights and cross members.

Reading the chart

  • Prices are each bundle's starting price. A + means the bundle has options, such as stainless steel cones, that change the price.
  • A number in a cell is how many of that part come in the bundle.
  • Optional means you can add that part when you order the bundle.
  • Bundle Savings is what the included parts cost bought separately, minus the bundle's starting price.

Basic or Full?

Motorcycle: the Full Motorcycle bundle adds the Adjustable Width Fixture, Threaded Rods With Spacer Material, and Frame Jig Feet to everything in the Basic Motorcycle bundle.

Bicycle: the Full Bicycle bundle adds a third Base Clamp, Frame Jig Feet, the Seat Tube Fixture and Seat Tube Cone, and the 3/8" Dummy Hub / Axle to everything in the Basic Bicycle bundle.

Buying for more than one kind of frame

You don't need a separate bundle for each kind of frame. The bundles share the same Base Clamps, Neck Fixture (Head Tube Fixture), and Neck Cones (Head Tube Cones), so you can buy one bundle and add the parts the other needs.

Motorcycle and bicycle: choose your options on the Full Bicycle bundle and add it to your cart, then add the Axle Plate Fixture, Adjustable Width Fixture, and Threaded Rods With Spacer Material. The Full Bicycle bundle has the larger bundle savings, so starting with it costs less than starting with the motorcycle bundle. You'll also have everything in the Mini Bike bundle.

Motorcycle and mini bike: start with the Full Motorcycle bundle and add the Rear Axle Fixture. That costs a little less than starting with the Mini Bike bundle and adding the Axle Plate Fixture, Adjustable Width Fixture, and Threaded Rods With Spacer Material.

Bicycle and mini bike: the Full Bicycle bundle already includes everything in the Mini Bike bundle, so there's nothing to add.

Already have a bundle? Compare its column in the chart with the bundle you want. The parts it's missing are the ones to add, and you can tap a part name to buy it on its own. The Mini Bike bundle's extra Clamp Bar also comes with the Bottom Bracket Fixture and the Adjustable Width Fixture, so if you have either one, you already have it.

What the bundles don't include

A frame jig holds and aligns your frame while you build or modify it. It isn't a frame kit: frame tubing, engine mounts, and axle plates aren't included, and the jig itself is built from steel tubing you buy locally. Printed instructions come with every bundle, and each bundle's page links to them as a PDF, including the tubing cut list. Read them before you order.
