Description
The Axle Plate Fixture has three sizes of holes, 3/4", 1", and 5/8". The threaded rods and spacer material to complete the fixture are sold separately. Use 3/4" threaded rods and spacers for axle plates that have 3/4" or 20mm slots. Use 1" threaded rods and spacers for axle plates that have 1" or 25mm slots. Use 5/8" threaded rods and spacers for axle plates that have 17mm slots. You can also use shafts or tubing of the same size with shaft collars instead of threaded rods and spacers. If you need to hold axle plates that are slightly smaller than one of the threaded rod sizes, you can grind small "flats" on the outside top and bottom of the threaded rods, and the nuts will still work. The Axle Plate Fixture includes hardware and works with both 2" x2" and 2" x3" tubing.
The steel plates for the axle plate fixture are powder-coated black. (not shown in all pictures)
If you order this separately and not in a bundle, depending on your frame jig design, you may also need to order a Base Clamp so that you can move the upright that this mounts to back and forth along the main rails of the jig.
