Details
This 6061 aluminum threaded spacer comes with our Bicycle Head Tube Fixture. If you have an older version of our Neck Fixture or Head Tube fixture (sold before 11/23/18), this spacer replaces the 3/4" nut that was previously used on the top of the rod block. The large CNC machined spacer has more surface area in contact with both the top of the rod block and with the threads of the rod to help ensure they are accurately aligned with each other. It also provides a solid base for the bottom cone. Keeping the head tube as low as possible in the fixture ensures the most rigidity. If you have one of our neck or head tube fixtures sold before 11/23/18, this is a must-have upgrade.
